MEGHAN MARKLE STAYS HOME WHILE THE REST OF THE ROYALS JOIN QUEEN FOR EASTER: Queen Elizabeth attended Easter Matins Service on Sunday at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle alongside several royals, including Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry. Meghan Markle, who is days away from giving birth to her first child with Harry, stayed home. The Queen’s husband Philip was also absent. The Queen also celebrated her 93rd birthday on Easter. JOHN SINGLETON HOSPITALIZED FOLLOWING STROKE: The Boyz n the Hood writer and director John Singleton has been hospitalized following a stroke, his family shared over the weekend. The 51-year-old director was at the unnamed facility when he suffered the stroke, his family said. They didn’t share details. Celebs, including Snoop Dog, Guillermo del Toro and Mark Wahlberg shared their wishes for a swift recovery on social media. Singleton was the first African American to be nominated for best director and best screenplay.
