When Nicolas Cage filed for an annulment after less than a week of marriage, he claimed Erika Koike had defrauded him by covering up her past criminal history. He also said decision to marry was made “on impulse and without the ability to recognize or understand the full impact of his actions.”

Some reports claimed he was intoxicated at the time. But still, Koike is demanding spousal support, TMZ reports, claiming in legal papers that he asked her to start their relationship again “in the right way” less than two weeks after filing for an annulment.

Koike claims her long relationship with Cage made her lose out on career opportunities, and this his claims have damaged her career further.

The pair were married March 23rd, and just before the ceremony, TMZ snapped them in a heated argument. They started dating in April of 2018. Cage has previously been married to Alice Kim, Lisa Marie Presley and Patricia Arquette.
