Oprah Winfrey hosted a post Leaving Neverland special last night (March 4th) with guests Wade Robson and James Safechuck — the two men featured in the documentary who accused Michael Jackson of sexual abuse.

Oprah said,"sexual abuse is not just abuse, it’s sexual seduction. It’s like a scourge on humanity. And it’s happening right now in families. We know its happening in churches, and schools and sports teams everywhere.”

Robson told Oprah about the abuse, “He told me it was love. He told me that he loved me and that God brought us together. Michael was God to me.”

The audience featured 100 abuse victims, some of whom were invited to share their experiences.

Wade Robson said the grooming began before he even met Michael

["The grooming had started well before we ever met him. Because he was who he was. . . And represented himself as such an angel. You know, 'I never had a childhood, I love children so much' . . .. So long before meeting him the first time, so much was set up already. . . . my whole family was already surrendered before we met him."] SOUNDCUE (:35 OC . . . we met him)

Wade Robson on why he stayed around Michael for years after the abuse

["I had no understanding of it being abuse. I loved Michael. And all the times I testified and many of the times I gushed over him in an interview . . . that was from a real place. While never forgetting the sexual details between us. . . . Whatever Michael did was right to me, for so many years."] SOUNDCUE (:45 OC . . . so many years)

James Safechuck on why he testified on Michael's behalf

["I did not testify by thinking Iw as doing something good . .  I was afraid of being caught . . it was that old sort of wiring of if your caught your life will be over."] SOUNDCUE (:19 OC . . . will be over)
