Jeff Beck has just announced five new U.S. tour dates for September. The shows are based around Beck's two high profile September gigs; A set at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival, which takes place on September 20th at American Airlines Center in Dallas, and Beck's joint show with Rod Stewart on September 27th at L.A.'s Hollywood Bowl.

Beck and his band are now booked for stops in Kansas City, Missouri; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Austin and San Antonio, Texas; and Phoenix, Arizona.

Jeff Beck's former Yardbirds bandmate Jimmy Page feels that Beck's influence cannot be overstated: ["He's been instrumental in pioneering a whole blueprints that was totally unique to him for everyone else to learn from. I mean, no one's ever equaled what Jeff's done, but he's — he really shifted the whole sound and face of the electric guitar music, y'know?"] SOUNDCUE (:16 OC: . . . guitar music y'know)
