Sharon Osbourne has said that her husband Ozzy's health is improving more than a week after the Black Sabbath singer was hospitalized because of flu complications. Sharon returned to her daytime show The Talk on Tuesday (February 4th), where she reported, "He's doing good. He's breathing on his own. He's overcome by the response he's had."

Ozzy was admitted to the Keck Hospital of University of Southern California on February 4th amid fears he could develop pneumonia, which is potentially fatal for someone his age. Sharon said at the time that doctors believed this was "the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery."

Ozzy was forced to postpone the entire European leg of his "No More Tours 2" run last month on doctors' orders, after he was diagnosed with a severe upper respiratory infection that apparently became severe enough to put him in the hospital when he got back to Los Angeles.

This is Ozzy's second stay in the hospital. Last October, the metal legend contracted a staph infection that required him to have surgery on his hand and resulted in him canceling several shows.

Ozzy's final world tour of this size is scheduled to resume on March 9th in Australia. Shows will follow in New Zealand and Japan before a two-month North American leg.
