The Kinks' Dave Davies had rolled out a nine-date club tour taking in stops on the East Coast and Midwest. Rolling Stone reported the guitarist will launch the run on April 9th at Collingsworth, New Jersey's Scottish Rite Auditorium and wraps things up on April 21st at Chicago's City Winery. The dates will feature Davies performing Kinks favorites alongside his 2018 outtakes collection, Decade, which collected long-unreleased tracks recorded throughout the 1970's.
Dave Davies told us that the ethos that drove the Kinks' best work now informs his own live shows: “Me and Ray have always tried to keep integrity into the music over the years and all the albums, and I'd like to keep the honesty in the live shows, as well. 'Cause people pick up on it, y'know, and trying to uplift people and make 'em laugh and make 'em happy and inspire them.”
